What is going on
I apply for a gig an I’m put on standby forever there are only two job I got from this app the Oracle baseball stadium and one time at the Twitter building but I never got a job anywhere else an it is Really discouraging that any job I apply for just puts you on stand by. No how are you Supposed to build up your profile on there when all the jobs put you on standby and you don’t really get a shot to really build up your work performance with blue crew? You guys should make something where the new people can actually get a chance to get the jobs and just keep the older people something separate idk but the new ppl like me looking for work should get a chance Because it was left up to the algorithm it’s only going to pick the people who have the most work history not the new people

Miscommunication galore
I had a couple of good experiences with the app, but overall? It has been confusing and the communication is seriously lacking. The last time I worked through BlueCrew, I was removed from a scheduled shift due to a misunderstanding. The only direct communication I received from the client was praising my work ethic, so imagine my surprise when I drove over an hour for a scheduled shift, and found out that I was removed. Neither BlueCrew nor the client informed me that I had been removed, and I was only brought up to speed about what happened after I asked to speak to the head person on the site. I hadn’t broken any rules, and hadn’t received any warnings or negative feedback from any of the supervisors at any point. I contacted BlueCrew and they sided with the client, which is fine, but then my account was deactivated. I didn’t have any strikes before or after that instance. I contacted support and they said that my account was reactivated, and it never actually was. In fact, it now says that I would be unable to work with BlueCrew again. The communication is seriously lacking, it seems they arbitrarily change their grounds for permanent deactivation, and they’ve shown to not follow through on their. It’s disappointing because the app seemed to have so much potential to be great.

Terrible app
If there’s a job available and you complete it. Bluecrew will suspend your account without valid reason. Then make you answer 20 questions about your assignment before they will pay you. The front office people are ignorant and rude. You will constantly be asked to verify your clock in and clock out times even though you’ve made your punches through the app. They will not pay you until you’ve replied to a list of 20 questions where did you clock in what time was it. What was your supervisors name. What where the names of the people you worked with. What did you do on your assignment. What time did you clock out? Where did you clock out. How many hours did you work. It’s all things they already have the answers to. They just want to make it difficult so they don’t have to pay you. If you don’t respond to the questions in the format the request you won’t be paid. Then they will tell you your account is under investigation and you can’t work or get paid until the investigation is complete. Long story short don’t waste your time there are far better options. Unless you like your time wasted they are professionals in that department.
