Description
The Bluetooth Developer App is made to help you developing with bluetooth devices and understanding how they work.
You can:
- Find & see nearby devices
- View manufacturer data and signal strength
- Connect and read out data
- See before connecting if a device is possible an apple device
- See what kind of device (TV, Headphones, Heartbeat-Sensor, Monitor) a device is before connecting
- Read out advertisement data
- See information about services and characteristics
- Read out characteristic values and parse them (currently in UTF8 format)
Requires permission to use Bluetooth Features of your device.

- Removed the blue bar in the main screen - it is a neat visual element, but is rather distracting
- Added 60 new recognized devices!
- Added new recognized device-types
- Add new recognized types of devices
- Improved sorting - unnamed devices are now sorted first by devices with a manufacturer, then potential apple devices, then by highest received signal strength
- Scannning is now stopped correctly when entering the info-screen
- Resetting the list of devices now correctly stops connecting
- When a decoded characteristic-value is an empty string it is mentioned specifically
- Added a share-button - show Bluetooth Developer easier to your friends!
- Spinner-Views are now blue
- Improved performance
- Improved alignment of various interface elements
