As it cooks, a warm glow builds around the egg on screen. When time is up, the egg cracks open with a chime and a gentle haptic, and a notification still reaches you if the phone is on the counter. That is the whole app. No accounts, no recipes, no menus. Cooking time is calibrated for large eggs dropped into boiling water at sea level - the kitchen convention most people already use.
