Create an account or connect your wallet to read your books anytime, anywhere. Your books are forever safe, stored on the blockchain, unburnable and unbannable as decentralized encrypted assets (DEAs).
Books you have purchased from Book.io will automatically appear in your app after you connect your wallet or link your Book.io account. Please follow the instructions inside the app for detailed, easy instructions to view your bookshelf.
Our first version includes swiping, table of contents, bookshelf search, last position read, and bookmarking.

A game changer
With the book banning happening here in the continental US and amazons strong hold on eBooks there has never been a greater need to digitize books on the blockchain. Book NFTs can be accessed from multiple devices and can be resold when one is finished and cannot be re-edited in the future. The fact that I can access multiple books from around the globe on my phone/laptop/iPad as an NFT and the fact that there is a decentralized version of app is a game changer.
The Future of Books, duh!
Writing this because this app is an incredible way for reading my DEA digital books. App is sleek, clutter free and best part is, is that I know my digital books are forever mine and unaltered! Looking forward to future developments with this new platform!
Innovative with some kinks still to iron out
Really like the idea of being able to sell or lend an ebook after I’m done with it! That being said, it definitely feels like a version 1 app. Can’t wait to see things like dark mode, make the text bigger and smaller, and other features that are standard on other e-readers.
Cool and novel idea! Look forward to added functionality in future updates
