Bookslot is updated! Full support for iOS 26 and the new Liquid Glass design. Main Features • Reading information section at the top: easy and immediate access. Thanks to dynamic section management, it is visible only for books with status “In Progress” or “Completed.” • Redesigned progress bar: now below the cover, with a more minimal and clear design. • Redesigned timer: button at the top right above the cover. The dedicated window shows reading time in larger dimensions adapted to the screen, making the timer simple and accessible to everyone. • Sharing book information: long-press a book and click “Share.” An image will be generated with different data depending on the list you are in. For example: in the Purchased list? The image will include the cover, title, author, and other book details. In the In Progress list? In addition to some book information, reading status details like pages read and time spent reading will also be included. It's time to introduce you to all the new features that have just been introduced in the app: • Barcode Scan: Add your books in a snap by scanning their barcode. Just frame the code in the centre of the rectangle and you're done! If the autofocus doesn't cooperate, just tap in the centre of the rectangle to adjust it manually. • CSV Export: Export your list in CSV format, ready for use on other platforms or devices. • CSV import: Add new books to the app by importing a list in CSV format. • Reading Reminder: Don't forget to read! Set a reminder and dedicate time to your favourite pastime. • Quick Delete: Permanently delete all books with a single click. • Statistics: Explore the chart to find out the books completed, the time spent reading and the number of pages read in a specific period. • Shops and shopping: Monitor your spending with ease. Select a period to view the shops where you have made purchases during that time. If you choose ‘All’, you will get a complete list of your purchases, organised by shop. For each shop, the number of books purchased and the total expenditure are shown; clicking on a shop will also show the titles purchased. • Quote Sharing: Hold down on a quote and the app will create an image for you, ready to be shared where and with whom you want! • Local search via ISBN: Quickly find any book in your library using the ISBN code. I am currently reading The Truth about the Harry Quebert case :) Well, now let's see all the new features concerning the app: • Revised and improved main UI. • Revised and improved creation/editing UI. • Added two new lists: eBooks and Periodicals. • Changed approach to saving: now the ‘Save’ button will remain disabled if no changes are detected or if an automatic save has already taken place. Otherwise, the button will start blinking. As mentioned in the App Description (a little further up), if several changes are to be made, it is not necessary to save them one by one. You can make as many changes as necessary and finally click on ‘Save’. • Improved online search: once a request has been sent and results have been obtained, all books already in the app are marked with a symbol. This means that it is no longer necessary to select a given book to find out whether it has already been archived or not. • Also regarding the online search: now, when available, you also get publication date and genre. In addition, it is possible to interact with the text field concerning the number of pages, to change it on the spot. This is useful when the number of pages of a given book is incorrect or even absent. Without the number of pages, it is not possible to mark a book as ‘Purchased’. • Various optimisations concerning performance and efficiency. Added sound feedback for online search.

Fixed some bugs and improved performance.

• Online searching has been improved: it is now possible to search for books by title, by author or by ISBN. • A button was added at the bottom of the create/edit screen, to delete the book in question (this is an addition, you can still delete a book from the list itself with a swipe to the left). • Slightly enlarged the images of the book covers in the wish list. General optimisation. Enjoy this small (but useful) update. What's new: - A new 'Favourites' list has been added, so that you can always have the books you are most passionate about at your fingertips. - A new button has been added to the creation/editing view of a book, useful for adding or removing a book from the "Favourites" list. - It is no longer necessary to save manually when interacting with selectors or buttons, but only when editing a value in any of the text fields. - The icons in the main view have been changed. I hope the new 'three-dimensional' design will be appreciated :) Further improvements in performance and efficiency. Welcome to the new version of Bookslot :) What's new: • The interface has been completely overhauled and made simpler and more organised. • Several sections have been added, all accessible from the main screen. • Searching is now more comprehensive than ever with the help of filters. It is now possible to search the entire library, or specific sections. • To make the app accessible to everyone, sounds have been created and added. These sounds, together with certain vibrations emitted by the iPhone's touch sensor, accompany actions such as saving a book, starting the stopwatch, etc. • In the appropriate sections, a report of total reading time, money spent, money earned and pages read in total is now available. • Added Save button on the book creation/editing screen, needed to save a new book or changes made to an existing book. • Added support for simplified Chinese (by Angela Rotondo).
