Say when you're free. See which of your crew is too. Turn it into an actual plan tonight. No feeds, no followers, nobody but your people. BoredCrew is for the evening you're free and don't know what to do. SAY WHEN YOU'RE FREE Not a switch you forget to turn off: a window. "Next two hours", "this evening", "Saturday afternoon". It expires on its own, so it is always true when somebody reads it. See which of your crew is free right now, and what's already on. CREWS, NOT FOLLOWERS A crew is a few people you already know: the hiking friends, the flatmates, the five-a-side group. When you say you're free, the people you've added and your crews see it, and nobody else. Add somebody by scanning the code on the back of their card, or by the handle they gave you, or find the ones already here from your contacts: numbers are scrambled on your phone, and nothing from your address book is kept. There is no public search, and nobody is discoverable by where they are. TURN IT INTO A PLAN Make one in a tap. Say when and where, put a cost each on it so nobody is surprised, add a bring list and a dress code. See who's coming, chat about where to meet, drop a pin on the meeting point and the parking. One nudge an hour before. Afterwards, the plan keeps its photos and memories for the people who were there. OPEN IT UP WHEN YOU WANT TO A plan is private unless you say otherwise. Open it to your crews and the crews of everybody going, who can ask to join. Or make it public, so anybody can find it on Discover and join in a tap. Discover is what's on around you: people's open plans, on a map. Like somebody else's plan? Copy it and make it your own. QUIET BY DESIGN One buzz when somebody you know goes free, once an hour at most from each of them. Quiet hours, a daily cap, a mute per crew, a switch per kind of notification. Everything still lands in the app whether or not your phone buzzed. SAFE BY DESIGN Report or block anybody from where they appear. A block hides the two of you from each other everywhere, and they aren't told. A plan's address is for the people on it; everybody else sees which part of town.
