Pick a preset or set a custom countdown, watch the live timer ring, and get a gentle alert when your soft eggs, broccoli, or greens are ready. Log each cook session with doneness tags, actual minutes, and optional photos from your camera or library. Stamp daily kitchen habits like prep mise and vent-hood checks, jot private journal notes, and attach short voice memos when typing is not convenient. BrothLedger keeps every timer run, cook log, habit stamp, and note in one private timeline with a Heat Streak stacked-bar chart so you can spot consistency at a glance. Open any entry for full detail, playback controls, and optional simmer card exports saved to Photos. Borel stores all journals and media on your device in a private app sandbox. You can review and delete your data anytime from Settings. Borel does not provide nutritional or food-safety advice—always follow trusted cooking guidance for doneness and temperature. Embers are optional in-app coins for extras such as additional cook logs beyond the free daily allowance, voice memos, custom timer presets, and premium exports. Purchases are consumable; prices appear in your local App Store currency.
