Shipping experience good. I broke the first one while installing but uncertain how. Replaced without hassle. My second attempt at install required assistance which was give well and I even received a follow up call to make sure it went well. Latch and deadbolt were aligned so that the deadbolt was very tight to go in. this causes a the mechanism difficulty and reprogramming. It has been somewhat problematic. The unit seems to work well with the keypad and fingerprint recognition. One other problem is that the unit is too wide to fit on a door with a standard window. I was able to open the door remotely to allow entrance to the home while we were on vacation.

First of all I want to inform you that these cameras are already out of production! They are not manufacturing them any more so who knows how long they will support them? I recently installed a MESH ROUTER SYSTEM which gives me 350Mb download and 20MB upload. I mention this do you are aware that I have adequate speeds all through my home. The problem is that all too often these cameras lose the signal and I get the error message that the camera(s) have lost the signal. Well I EXCHANGED camera and placed one in the same location and it worked fine. You don’t have to be an Einstein to immediately know that it’s the camera and not my Wi-Fi signal. This occurs all too often on all cameras at various times. So logically, what’s the next step? Call customer service of course. Wow, reaching someone to answer your questions is like calling the Pentagon. You leave a message and no one ever returns your calls! That is extremely poor and unacceptable customer service. My honest opinion is forget these antiquated cameras and look elsewhere. If you do neeed assistance or customer service, forget it as it’s non existent. When you call the voice mail says thanks for calling and hangs up! What? Not able to even leave a voice message? Only other company that does that is LIFX. Products with no support are just asking for trouble, because if you do have trouble no one is there to assist you!!

Reading everything about this device it sounds great. The auto lock and unlock features, being able to lock the door from anywhere, everything the other models have at half the cost. Unfortunately that’s where it stops. Once it was installed you have to calibrate it. Ok no big deal. But then you have to calibrate it every day. The app will tell you the door is unlocked when it’s locked. And then you have wait for it to lock again before it will unlock. Then you have to calibrate it. When you go to leave you push the button to unlock it and it locks. Then you have to wait to unlock it. And then you have to calibrate it again.
It is supposed to make life easier. It does not. The Auto Unlock feature sayid its working but then the door is locked. And when you finally dig your phone out open the app and tell it to lock and then unlock…we’ll you guessed it. You have to calibrate it again. Oh and I order for anything to sort of work. The app has to be open at all times and it kills your battery. After you calibrate the machine. Spend the extra money. Get the one that actually works.
