This app features both a precise BPM counter and a multi-sensory metronome. Just tap along to music and the tempo will show. Then let the metronome play exactly the same tempo as sound, flashes and haptic pulses. The BPM counter never requires to be manually reset. It is intelligent enough to recognize when you change the tempo and swiftly resets itself and adapts to the new tempo. The new metronome can easily be set with the same tempo as you’d tapped and play it for you to give the support you require. This is not only an ordinary metronome that gives away a tick-tock sound, it can also flash the tempo with the torch or by altering the brightness of the screen in addition to convey the tempo with vibrations or haptic pulses that you can feel. Naturally, the sleek, minimalistic design is prepared for dark mode.

Can’t silence on haptic

As someone else mentioned, turning on only the haptics still makes a loud noise. The only way to make it work silently is to actually silence the watch volume, which is obviously silly. For me, when I set it to “vibrate” only, it does nothing. When I set it to “haptic pulse” only, it does pulse but it also beeps! And when I set it to “Audible tick” only, it ticks (nothing wrong there). If you set it to “audible tick” and “haptic pulse” together, it ticks AND beeps! It could be a great simple app but that stuff needs to be ironed out.

Sometimes it works in the background, sometimes not. Sometimes it keeps steady time, sometimes not. I paid for the version with haptic feedback, and it won’t do the haptic pulse without the tone, even though there’s a setting that suggests it should. Find a better metronome app. This one is a dud.

There are not many options. I could not make it have half notes, sixteenth notes, triplets, etc. It was not very convenient.
