Bradford White Connect‪™‬ 17+

The purpose of the app is great, when it works is great. Probably about once a month something glitches in the app and daily and weekly view no longer works and then it turns into an almost useless product. I want to monitor my heat pump to electric usage but this app makes things difficult. It shouldnt glitch out and say no data on usage checks.

The app needs to fix its scheduling feature, the way it is currently programmed is pretty useless. It does not allow a schedule that runs during the night, ie. from 10pm to 7am. The app only allows scheduling during a 24 hour day, ie. from 10pm to 11:59pm or from 12am to 7am. You cannot create multiple schedules to run on the same day to get around this issue. So you are unable to schedule heating during low cost energy times or while sleeping if the sound is an issue.

It would also be helpful to have a feature that shows you how much hot water is currently available. This feature would allow you to decide what type of setting to run based on your near-term hot water needs.

Hello Electrall1234, thank you for your feedback on the scheduling feature on the Bradford White Connect app. We apologize for this error upon our initial app release. We expect to add the ability to create multiple schedules in our next app update in August.

Cannot add a time of use setting and also cannot schedule any time settings in general. Need the TOU to be set up for the HPWH rebate in CA. App also struggles to change the heating status and temperature (so I end up doing this manually on the water heater). Been in touch with the app developers/project team since installation in late Dec. After an initial response in early Jan nothing. Now will not return my emails or calls - a simple “we are working on an app update and hope to have this released by x date” will do.
