BRCApp nasce dalla collaborazione tra LifeCharger srl ed i ricercatori/ricercatrici della SSD Ricerca Nutrizionale e metabolomica della Fondazione IRCCS Istituto nazionale dei tumori di Milano per supportare le donne portatrici di mutazione genetica BRCA 1 e BRCA 2.
Questo ha permesso di mettere a punto uno strumento utile per costruire una grande community di donne portatrici di mutazioni . Attraverso la BRCApp le donne potranno fornire informazioni e ricevere indietro contenuti riguardanti la dieta, attività fisica, fumo e alcol volti promuovere uno stile di vita sano.
I dati raccolti, se l’utente lo consente, potranno essere usati dai ricercatori/ricercatrici dell’Istituto per comprendere quali fattori dello stile di vita e altri elementi siano realmente associati allo sviluppo della malattia.
