Hahaha! I love playing taps even though it makes me sad. I figured out how to use it pretty quickly acctually. One thing I'd suggest is putting in a positions chart for people who can't figure it out. Oh and I don't know if it's just my headphones, but it seems really loud! I had my iPod on the lowest volume and I felt like my ears were blasted! Maybe quiet it down a bit please?

Having played many bugle calls I can say that this is a very good representation of a bugle. Given the complexity of brass instruments, I was shocked at how well this technique actually works, and for a trumpet player it is quite intuitive. Unfortunately, I can see why this app would confuse those who have not ever played trumpet, or have a hard time with learning the positions the app uses. I would recommend a chart or a diagram within the app explaining how it should be played.

Well the sound is good until you get to the high notes then it sounds like a. ......piano or something . If it sounded better I would give it five stars . But yea.Let's all just drink orange juice. '-'

I play saxophone and I also know a little of the Brass word. You, the developer, are very talented!!!!! You out did yourself with the trumpet app and now you have done an exellent job with Bugle. I envy the Brass world. No developer has produced any app for ANY woodwind intstrument that can compare!Five stars 
