BulkHead is a powerful file manager that puts your servers and cloud storage in your pocket. Connect to SFTP, SMB, WebDAV, or Amazon S3 and browse, preview, and edit files with a native iOS experience. Browse local files and iCloud folders too.
**Connect to Servers & Cloud Storage**
Add connections to SFTP, SMB, WebDAV servers, or Amazon S3 buckets (including S3-compatible services like MinIO). BulkHead auto-discovers servers on your local network using Bonjour. Browse local files and iCloud folders directly. Credentials are stored securely in the iOS Keychain.
**Browse Files Like a Pro**
Navigate directories with fluid swipe gestures, breadcrumb navigation, and pull-to-refresh. Switch between list and grid views. Sort by name, date, size, or type. Search across files instantly. Mark frequently accessed files and folders as favorites for quick access. Select multiple files and perform batch operations — move, copy, delete, or download in one go.
**Preview Everything**
View images with pinch-to-zoom, read PDFs, play video and audio, and preview text files — all without downloading. BulkHead renders files directly on your device for a fast, seamless experience.
**Code Editor with Syntax Highlighting**
Edit code in over 50 programming languages with full syntax highlighting, 30 color themes, line numbers, and word wrap. Changes auto-save as you type. Supported languages include Swift, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Rust, Go, Ruby, and many more.
**Markdown Editor with Live Preview**
Write and edit Markdown with a split-pane editor that shows a live-rendered preview side by side. Use the formatting toolbar for quick access to headers, bold, italic, lists, code blocks, links, and more. Export to PDF or HTML with a tap.
**SSH Key Management**
Generate Ed25519 SSH keys, import existing keys, and manage passphrases — all within the app. Assign keys to connections for passwordless, secure authentication.
**File Operations & Batch Actions**
Create folders, rename, move, copy, and delete files and folders. Select multiple items and perform batch operations in one go. Upload files from your device. Track transfers in a dedicated queue with progress indicators and retry support.
**External Display Support**
Connect to a TV or monitor via USB-C or AirPlay. BulkHead renders an optimized, large-format view of your file browser and previews on the external display while you navigate from your phone.
