Mobile deposit doesn’t work

It takes many attempts for the mobile deposit to work. (1) The instructions to write “for Dollar Bank mobile remote deposit only” is not given until after you try to make the deposit and it fails. (2) that is a lot of text even for an oversized check. Like most businesses we have a stamp to endorse the check. It doesn’t leave much room for all that writing. (3) even after getting that all worked out, THE DEPOSIT IS USUALLY NOT ACCEPTED. It might work on the 10th try. (4) sometimes the photo is taken but not loaded. You need to take it again. (5) version of app is not shown so hard to know if using the latest version.

Very Disappointing

Dollar Bank has been consistently behind the curve with technology for some time. This app is just another example of that. As a business owner, I have a million things to stress about already and this app does little to help that. It is not at all user friendly and, in my experience, actually makes it more difficult to stay on top of my accounts. I hope Dollar Bank takes a hard look at this and makes the investments required to remain competitive with other financial institutions who are emphasizing technology. If not, I think many people (myself included) will begin to consider taking their banking elsewhere.

Will this app ever be user friendly?

The old one was awful, this is not any better. I only have one business account, why I should choose an account to deposit a check every time I deposit one? Shouldn’t it just be selected by default? Also you can’t deposit multiple checks while you’re in the deposit window. You need to go to main page and start all over again. They also lowered daily deposit limit. Is this banking app for a business for real? You can’t even see the account activity by clicking on the account. You need to scroll down and click a plus sign. Very user unfriendly.
