The ScanFood app is designed specifically for those who monitor their food intake and strive to achieve their goals. Everyone’s goal is different: some want to achieve weight loss, others, weight gain; others still wish to maintain their current body weight. Our application allows the full automation of the process of calculating the daily calorie intake. With ScanFood, you will be able to scan barcodes of products sold in store, and the application will independently determine their caloric value, as well as the amount of proteins, carbohydrates and fats contained in them. All you have to do is to indicate the approximate weight of the consumed food, and the application will independently calculate all the data. If our application can’t find the product you have chosen, you only need to enter the barcode of this product once, and in the future, not only you but other ScanFood users as well will be able to use the barcode you saved. You can specify the frequency of reminders in the Settings, and the app will remind you to enter information on the products you consumed. If your weight has changed and you need to change the value of your daily calorie intake, you can always do this in the Settings. Our application will be constantly evolving and supplemented with new features, such as recommendations on physical exertion, as well as other tips useful for weight loss or for gaining muscle mass. App contains paid subscriptions (monthly, quarterly, yearly). The subscriptions are auto-renewable. If your free trial period is over. To continue using app, buy a subscription. Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal. Database problem

Just getting more fallower a
I would have loved this app but unfortunately there just isn’t a wide range of database on different foods so I would have to almost always manually enter all the calorie information, and even then it wouldn’t save for the next time I needed to put that exact same meal in so I would have to manually enter it all over again. It just became a hassle. Also when I enter workouts it wouldn’t show up for that day, the calories burned would be 0. But if they fixed those then this app would have been perfect for me.

Great app except when I enter my workout the app still says 0.00 calories burned on the home page. Not sure why it shows my exercise is entered then no calories burned on the proteins/fat/carbs home page. Please fix this or tell me how to fix it. Thank you! Love the ease of use!

Nicely laid out. Exercise does not register under calories burned for the day. For some reason it shows for “tomorrow” calories burned. I wish that could be fixed so that when you enter your exercise it shows it as calories burned for the day and you could select which day.

Expectation was that a scan data base would be in place similar to higher cost applications available. Instead a data base with every portion size defaulted to 3.5 oz vs portion sizes tied to nutritional information. It is actually easier,quicker ( and free ) to use the free version of “ my fitness app” And just manually key vs scan the items you want. If I have to build a data base for every item and back into portion sizes and pull info off of company data bases. Lame app would not recommend.
