Ratings and Reviews
Looked good..major flaw
I looked at several calculator apps before downloading this one. I liked the layout of the app, and it had the basic operations I needed. I performed a simple operation trying to find what percentage 82,960 is of 1,338,000. The answer is just over 6 percent. The result I got from the app was incorrect. I tried it several times and got the same incorrect result. I tried simpler numbers, and it seemed to be ok. But for large uneven numbers it was no good. I removed it from my iPad. Too bad...
A Quick and Dirty App
I like this calculator. I looked at the critical reviews, and I have to scratch my head. I tried 200x2x2x2 and got 1600. Calc percent's review is a bit more damaging. 100x2% should yield 2, but this calculator does not respond. I suspect the order of operation was not taken into account, or is ignored to keep it simple. This app does not have any ads and fills the entire screen on my iPad 64 gig. So, ease of use and lack of ads make this a useful app worthy of your use. If you need more than a four function calculator, there are plenty of scientific calculators out there. I gave it 4 stars because it nagged me to write this review.
Good products
This is a calculator. It works fine. I'm not sure what one expects from a calculator these days. They seem kind of low tech. This one does have some nice features like showing you a string of calculations. This is good when you're adding together a long list of numbers, like when shopping. If you think you entered something wrong you can just check the screen as you go to see what you actually entered up until that point. It keeps track of your string up to the point when you use the equals (=) sign.
