Great for a busy mind

I love this calendar so much. I am someone with adhd and it is really hard to keep everything straight for me. With work being all over the place - Teams, Google Calendar, ios calendar, outlook, and everything. Also being in graduate school, with an internship-It is all too much. This calendar seamlessly integrates and has the most user-friendly interface of all calendars I have seen. It is easy to find, change, and see appointments in whatever format I need for what I am doing. I love the color coding, the ability set an excess of alarms (because one is never enough), and the ability to shift meetings to different times or different days with a touch. Finding all my appointments in one place without ever doing any sync action is like magic to me. Just relief of okay- it's all here- even my bosses google calendar just synced to it with zero effort on my part. I don't write reviews for apps, but I feel "seen" as a busy, neurodivergent person. This is a god send compared to the ios calendar. Thanks!

Powerful Calendar and Task App

I was a long-time user of Fantastical, but gave it up because it was just way too expensive. I went back to the stock Calendars and Reminders app, but there were a few things about the native calendars app that bugged me, namely, an inability to use Google Maps with it, not being able to color-code appointments, and not being able to time block with tasks. Calendars by Readdle solves all of these issues for a very reasonable price. The interface is great, and I can now drag and drop my appointments and use a time-blocking approach. Calendars syncs perfectly with Apple Reminders, which is great because that is how I like to manage some tasks for shared lists. But I am finding for many tasks I can do everything right in the Calendars by Readdle app.I am really glad to see that these developers have continued to do such a great job improving and developing this app. It functions like a really nice digital planner on my Mac and iPhone, and it has helped me better organize my days.

I really like the Calendars app. I am not sure why I could never get with the program with ios or google calendars, but I like this one a lot better. It feels more intuitive for me. And easier to customize. I love how the lists of tasks can be separated out, and I like that you can set a duration for tasks, which makes it easier ofr me to plan them and get a grasp of what my day or week will look like. I also like how it syncs with my other devices. The widget for my iphone is great. I have one of the bigger ones that shows upcoming events for today and tomorrow.The other thing I like is that I can use it for both work-related and home things, but only view what I want to when I want to on any device. I have my housecleaning scheduled out, and since tasks can be repeated that helps me a lot. It is very easy to customize the repeats as well, which is great. And for work it is easy to copy in links to zoom meetings and such.
