What I was looking for

I had started using HealthFace to enter in calories on my Apple Watch which tracks a daily calorie deficit for you, but doesn’t give you any historical info. This app fills that gap nicely for at least the 7 last days.

Also, I had a few questions and the developer responded within hours with answers.

Glad you're enjoying the app!

Keep it negative

Gotta keep it below zero. CaliCalo makes it easy to lose by making net calories easy to track.

I wish it worked better

I’m paying for this app but it doesn’t always sync my data from apple health. I can input my calories and it will register that I ate 500 calories when I entered 1000 calories, this messes up the entire weeks net calorie count and I have no idea if I’m making the progress I’m wanting without going directly to apple health and doing the calculations myself.

Please fix this bug, I would love to keep using this app.

Developer Response ,

We’re glad you’re enjoying the app and hopefully we can help clear this up for you. CaliCalo gets all its data from the Health App. We’ve recently added a tab that allows you to manually enter calories as well as see the calories that CaliCalo is getting from Apple Health. We’ve also noticed that some apps used for saving calorie data have been incorrectly saving data to Apple Health. Make sure the calorie data in Apple Health matches what you entered into your app for tracking food. If they don’t match it could be a problem with the other app. If there’s calorie data in Apple Health that’s missing from CaliCalo, then it’s a CaliCalo problem. Please feel free to contact us at any time at We’ll get back to you as quickly as possible!
