Empowering Self-Care Companion for IFS Therapy

Calming Triggers is an indispensable tool for me as I am immersed in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. Its intuitive interface helps me identify and utilize the tools that resonate most with my needs. I like that it comes preloaded with tools, but also I can add my own. My therapist suggests new tools and it’s nice to add custom tools tailored to what works for my different parts. Like some parts like doing EFT tapping and some parts like cold water technique, I added those custom tools to my list so that I can remember to use them. Also the ability to Track progress and mood fluctuations in the notes section empowers me to communicate effectively with my therapist and discern which interventions work best. This app fosters mindfulness and validates my internal experiences, enhancing my therapeutic journey. Calming Triggers is a compassionate and insightful companion that empowers users to navigate their inner world with resilience and authenticity. And also to practice emotional regulation, whether it be a panic attack coping skill or just needing to support parts who are angry. The tool is a beacon to finding my self and holding my parts.

Great app to help with calming down!

As someone who struggles with anxiety, this app has been great! I love that it comes with preloaded tools as it’s sometimes hard to know where to start, it’s also great to add some of my own! It will definitely become a go-to when I’m struggling to find calm!

Love the tool library and notes

Great tool for helping me stay on track and “use my tools” - a lot of great features: check list of tools tried, ability to favorite tools, calendar to track mood and what tools have worked and not worked.
