Candlesticks patterns are the base of Technical Analysis, once once you understand the candlestick patterns you will be able to further grasp full fledged technical analysis using many technical indicators and various types of chart. Candlestick patterns are very important in capturing the market trend reversal. They say trend is your friend . That's true, you need to study the Candlestick patterns to be able to catch the trend and ride on it.

Great start but needs work

Love the idea but the app really needs a lot of work interface wise. When first opening you get a seemingly random selection of 9 patterns to choose from, then upon choosing one and going back to the main screen another random 9 show up. There’s no organization to them. It would be nice to have them all shown in a scrolling list, or even better allow users to swipe left/right to scroll between patterns. Some patterns such as abandoned baby don’t even do anything when you click on them, others like doji indicate a downtrend when it’s supposed to be an uptrend. Needs a good bit of work before it’s not beta/alpha. TikTok has some great real chart examples where you have 5 seconds to look and decide if it will go up one down based on candles. I was hoping to find something similar.
