Pick the apps that eat your study or work time and Capi actually blocks them for the length of your session, using Apple's own Screen Time technology. The block is applied at the system level, so it survives you closing Capi or restarting your phone. Every session you finish earns XP, levels up your capybara, and unlocks cosmetics to customize Capi your way, so staying focused feels like a game instead of a chore. This is self-restriction, by your own choice, and not a parental control tool. Capi only ever locks apps on your own device, when you tell it to. Trying to quit early isn't one tap. You'll go through a short, calming breathing pause first (a technique that published research from the Max Planck Institute and Heidelberg University has linked to a major drop in compulsive app-opening), followed by a brief cooldown before you're let out. A STREAK THAT ACTUALLY MEANS SOMETHING A daily focus goal keeps you honest today. A streak counter keeps you honest this month. One genuinely bad day won't wreck it: a Streak Shield automatically covers a miss, no guilt required. BRING YOUR BUDDIES Add a few real friends, see who's mid-session right now, and compare this week's focus minutes on your own private Weekly Focus League, never public. Nudge a buddy whose streak looks at risk, or link a Duo Streak that pauses (never breaks) on an off day.
