SETTINGS FOR YOUR CAMERA, NOT A GENERIC ONE
Look up your camera from a built-in database of over 3,600 models and CaptureReady learns its real ISO range, shutter limits and sensor size. Type your lens name and it reads the focal length and maximum aperture straight out of it.
Then describe what you are shooting and get a starting point: ISO, aperture, shutter speed, which mode dial position to use, and the reasoning behind all of it in plain English. The exposure maths is calculated, never guessed, so the numbers are always physically correct. On supported iPhones the explanation is written by Apple Intelligence, entirely on your device.

Shoots now link to your saved places. Pick a pin when you log a shoot, then tap that pin to see every shoot you've done there with the settings and weather from each day.
Light reminders are better: morning golden hour and blue hour now notify, blue hour timing is corrected, and reminders are scheduled a week ahead with the start time, how long the light lasts, and today's shooting score.
Fixed: the camera and lens added during setup are now marked as your current gear. If you set up before this update, check More › Gear and mark them active.
