The Card Premium Bank Account is a checking account established by, and the Premium Visa Debit card is issued by MetaBank, N.A., Member FDIC, pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc, and can be used everywhere Visa debit cards are accepted.



1*. While this specific feature is available for free, certain other transaction fees and costs, terms, and conditions are associated with the use of this Account. See the Accountholder Agreement for more details.
2**. Faster access to funds is based on a comparison of traditional banking policies and deposit of paper checks from employers and government agencies versus deposits made electronically. Direct Deposit and earlier availability of funds are subject to payer's support of the feature and timing of payer's funding.
3***. Overdraft Protection ("ODP") is an optional service made available to eligible CARD Premium Bank Account by MetaBank Customers. Once you enroll and meet the eligibility requirements, you will be charged $15.00 for each transaction that overdraws your account by more than $10.00, up to a maximum of four (4) fees per calendar month. To avoid that fee, you have twenty-four (24) hours from the time of the first transaction that creates the overdraft to bring your Account back to a zero ($0.00) or a positive balance. Transactions subject to an overdraft fee are signature and PIN purchase transactions. ATM transactions and ACH Debit transactions are not eligible for coverage. Any negative balance must be repaid within thirty (30) days. Whether we authorize an overdraft is discretionary, and we reserve the right not to pay. For example, we typically will not pay overdrafts if you fail to meet the eligibility requirements for this service or you attempt too many transactions or transactions that create too large of an overdraft. Contact Customer Service at (844) 227-3602 or log in to your Online Account Center for additional terms and conditions that apply, including initial and ongoing eligibility requirements for the service. This service may be expensive, so we encourage you to research alternatives before enrolling. Once enrolled, you may opt-out at any time; however, you are responsible to repay any overdrawn amounts on your account even if you opt-out of the service.
4****. The Savings Account linked to your CARD Premium Bank Account by MetaBank is established by MetaBank, N.A., Member FDIC. Interest is calculated on the Daily Balance of the Savings Account and is paid quarterly. The interest rate paid on the entire balance will be 0.0499% with an annual percentage yield (APY) of .05%. The interest rate and APY may change. The APY was accurate as of 08/17/2020. The minimum balance required to open the Savings Account is $10. The minimum daily balance required to obtain the advertised APY is $10. You must receive one (1) payroll or government benefits direct deposit to be eligible to open a Savings Account. Savings Account funds are withdrawn through the Premium Bank Account and transaction fees could reduce the interest earned on the Savings Account. Funds on deposit are FDIC-insured through MetaBank, N.A., Member FDIC. For purposes of FDIC coverage limit, all funds held on deposit by the accountholder at MetaBank will be aggregated up to the coverage limit, currently $250,000.00.

Needs new features

This app is great but there could be a few new things added to this app to make it easier to manage as well as access and easier to get things done! The major one being adding more ways to help with getting money transferred out and in there’s only one way to get it in and that’s directly putting in there or direct deposit no transfer options the second biggest is availability to all customers on getting options to change backgrounds in the app to different colors or using their own photos then there’s also the options to use different tools that are needed for various things!

Something just don’t seem right

First card didn’t come so I contacted the company to get a new card. Received the card and downloaded the app. The app didn’t recognize my email so i called the number that was on the card. The representative told me to download CARD premium or premium CARD. Everything went through but I was kind of funny that they still had the card that never came still in my account. I set up my direct deposit and it seem like everything was fine.

Two days later I received an email stating my account was suspended due to verification. So I looked into the app and it showed the card that never came with my account being closed. I called customer service which took an hour to get some for the lady to tell me that I have to send a picture of my ID (front and back) my social security card, my address and proof of employment. Like what! Why do y’all need my personal information for a prepaid card. She stated that this was the companies policy and this would be the only way i can get my account back.

When applying for this card no where did it state that I needed to provide my personal information, when i spoke with a representative to activate my card she did not disclosed that information. So now I have to change my direct deposit, payment delayed because I refuse to send my personal information to this company

Lacking something more, but a good banking app overall!

Besides the super amazing card designs (which is actually a really nice touch, I enjoy being able to have unique and fun card designs instead of something plain and common. Helps me know if it’s my card besides my name on it haha!!)

But besides that the app is VERY limited. There isn’t much to this besides the cool cards. I just wish it had a little something more to it or that it was a bit easier to navigate. Also I would really prefer that my transactions would be a little more detailed.. They are so vague that most of the time I have to really rack my brain to remember where and when I made the transaction based on the little details of whatever they title it. Sometimes I almost freak out thinking I wasn’t the one who made the transaction at first until I’m like ohh, Yeah I think I remember that one 😭🤦🏻It’s not a horrible banking app, if you’re looking for simplicity then sign up.. But overall, like I said, it’s definitely not a horrible app by any means. It’s just lacking a little more to it is all! Other than all of that I’ve been pretty satisfied with the bank and so far haven’t ever really had any issues.
