Introducing the Care+ Diagnostics app, which is exclusively accessible to customers who are enrolled in the Samsung Care+ Program. You can now easily run diagnostics on your enrolled device when you purchase a plan within this program. If your plan is eligible, you have a generous 10-day window from the Plan Purchase Date to complete the diagnosis.

To begin the diagnosis, you must receive a valid activation code via email. Once received, you can begin the diagnostic process. You'll need a second smartphone or tablet to capture images of your enrolled device for the diagnosis. The app will walk you through the diagnostic instructions, ensuring that you capture all of the required images correctly.

After capturing the necessary images, the system will analyze the device's health based on the diagnostic results, determining whether or not the diagnosis was successful. If your diagnosis is successful, your plan will be activated, granting you access to the Samsung Care+ program.

Don't worry if the diagnosis fails; you will have a second attempt to perform the diagnosis. This gives you a better chance of addressing any potential issues with your device. Please keep in mind that if both diagnosis attempts fail, your plan will be canceled.

Horrible App

Has to be one of the worst experiences signing up for a service contract I’ve ever had. Took me over half an hour and well over 100 attempts at a screenshot before it was able to register my IMEI number.

And also for the price of these contracts they should never have to make you wait up to 48 hours just to let you know if your pictures were good enough!!! God forbid if something happens to the phone in between now and then. They really need to either have a person on the other end with you real time when you’re taking these pictures or get back to you within an hour tops if you need to update anything.

I love my Samsung phone to death now. It’s really a nifty piece of technology, but the customer experience difference between Samsung and Apple is truly night and day. I dread if something ever happens to this phone because I truly have no faith in them.

Malfunction

The app is a waste of time for us as consumers. They ask to evaluate the device, but it's obvious that another device is needed to take the photos and information they request. However, this app only works with Samsung. When trying to use my iPhone, since I am a user of both ecosystems, this app only says:
'Apologies! It seems we are experiencing some trouble but our team is working to fix it. Please try again in some time or contact our support team.'

How on earth do they expect us to continue with the process?

Basic app but still needs work

There should be a picture of how they want the phone oriented for every picture they're asking me to take of it so that I know I'm doing it right. The app description says they added this, but they did not.

WHY does the view finder area get skinny on some views??? Then I see at the end that despite me lining it up correctly within the viewfinder, the phone isn't fully in frame at the end upon reviewing my photos!

Lastly, the description that reads something like "fold the phone and then place it open" is very contradicting and confusing for galaxy fold users! Did the developers of this app even try using it themselves???
