The Good News Bible Catholic

It’s a very good book and makes for a very good read. It’s well organized and easy to use, especially when looking for a particular chspter or section to read.

My only suggestion to improve is on the audio version. It’s rather dry and does not deliver the message well. It would be best if one can have a real catholic priest or lector who is familiar with the story, and has been a real Bible reader at a live mass like the ones who do the readings in The Sunday Mass of the Passionist Community and who know how to deliver the message in each passage, could read and deliver the audio version, it would be perfect. As it is, it’s good enough. I just turn off the audio, so I can appreciate the message and not be distracted by the monotone reading.

Great to have this Bible version available

Just found this app with this Bible version this week and I am really happy as it is a lot easier to read, specially when using it with youth or children.

One improvement is to highlight the titles that are within chapters, otherwise they seem to be part of the text and is confusing.

Good New Bible

So much easier to read due to not having to read it as originally written with all the “ Dosts” “believiths” type of words & it brings with it a nice updated flow for reading.
Perhaps I missed this, I haven’t found where I can highlight a section to look up more clarification to its meaning in your app. I see where it can be saved. Otherwise it’s wonderful to read wherever I go. I’ve never sat down & read the Bible in my life & now at 67 yrs I am able to do this anywhere. Thank you for this opportunity to find I was not living as Christ-like a life as I thought I was.
Now I feel I have a much better chance of getting into heaven.
