In the app you had to suffer advertising but you could read the articles. Now they want you to suffer the ads and pay to read the articles. Uninstall!
App won’t allow paid users to sign in
Hello I love my subscription to Cecil daily via the app and am happy to pay for it. However in the last couple days, I was somehow signed out. I was unable to sign back in. I used the website to reset my password but the app still won’t allow a sign in. Please fix. I will amend my review when fixed.
Whig is slowly dying
As a native of Cecil County, it is sad to see this local newspaper dying. One reason for it dying is the editors have zero regard for readers and do not answer subscriber emails. It is hard to believe, but true. I think this paper will be dead in five years or less.
Update: Cecil Whig recently tried raising e subscriptions to $30 per month. i cancelled.
Not worth it.
