Great workouts but functionality could be improved.

I am 10 weeks into using the app and seeing amazing results. The workouts are challenging and change every few weeks to keep the progress coming.

A few recommendations.
-Remove the sound from the videos. If you do not go back from the exercise while completing a set, on some of the videos you hear someone say OK every few seconds. This is not great when you are in the middle of sets and trying to listen to music.
-Add an option to type in your weight and reps rather than having to toggle up and down until you get the correct weight entered. After 10 weeks this is still frustration and adds time to every workout just trying to track your progress.

FBA has been a lifesaver!

I first heard about this app through following 1st Phorm so my interest was immediately piqued. I’ve tried a few different workout apps (and countless other programs) that have all worked well in their own ways but none have compared to the amount of forethought that clearly went into this one! It’s very user friendly while still being comprehensive. There’s obvious progression week to week and the exercises change at appropriate intervals, depending on the program you choose. I’ve only run the Full Body Aesthetics because my schedule lately has made it difficult to stick to a traditional body part split and it’s been a true lifesaver. I love knowing that whether I can get to the gym only two days in a week or all five, I’m hitting all the major body parts each day so I know I’m making reasonable progress/at least maintaining in all areas. I’m looking forward to having a more regular schedule in the next couple weeks so I can really start to reap the benefits of this program. I also really appreciated being able to consult with someone before committing to the free trial AND I like how they give you crude macros to follow depending on your goals, even if you just use it as a starting point. Overall, this app has been worth the investment and I look forward to seeing what progress I can make with it going forward. Thank you for creating this app!

You get as much as you’re willing to put in…

Is the app 100% user friendly? No. But it seems like many of the QOL problems other people have been having have been solved. The workouts are intuitive and for the subscription price you have access to multiple programs; full body, strength/conditioning, HST, dumbbell, push/pull/legs, dumbbell only, and big booty (lol) at the time of writing. Don’t want to do a program? Build your own workouts although I’m not sure that’s worth the cost honestly. The UI definitely takes some getting used too, but with consistent use it gets much easier as you begin to understand the quirks. I’m on week 4 of FBA and feel great. Hope this helps any prospective users. Good luck y’all.
