Numbr is a private phone number app specifically designed for iPhone to protect the user's privacy. It is a simple and inexpensive way for those who need a disposable number to make international and domestic calls, send text messages or to have an anonymous backup number for everyday situations. No contracts, transparent fees, absolute privacy.
NO HASSLES
Our numbers come without a contract. You don’t need a cell phone plan or another device to use your second phone number.
SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS
Using your second phone number with Numbr is super-simple. Purchase a number, recharge credits and start calling or texting immediately.
TRANSPARENT FEES
Number calling and texting fees are as transparent as possible. By using the in-app Tariff calculator, you can check the cost per minute for outgoing and incoming calls or messages based on a specific country.
UNRESTRICTED OWNERSHIP
Purchase and keep your number for as long as you need or dispose of them anytime.

PRICING
Numbr is free to download and comes with 20 free credits. Phone numbers and additional credits are available through subscriptions and in-app purchases.
Subscriptions for phone numbers:
• Weekly subscription
• Monthly subscription
• Yearly subscription
Subscriptions will be charged to your credit card through your iTunes account. Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You will not be able to cancel the subscription once activated. Manage your subscriptions in Account Settings after purchase.
IMPORTANT: Phone calls and text messages use prepaid credits. Area code availability varies. May not work with SMS shortcode services. Not for 911 or other emergency services.
Text messaging to US numbers is unavailable (US, PR, VI, Guam, and American Samoa).
Text messaging is not available in Africa (Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo, The Democratic Republic Of The Congo, Cote D’Ivoire, Djibouti, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mayotte, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Reunion Island, Rwanda, Sao Tome And Principe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Swaziland, United Republic Of Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Western Sahara, Zambia, Zimbabwe) and Dominican Republic.

Too many fees
Despite what they say in replies to reviews. THIS IS A SCAM. You have to pay for a subscription, on top of that you have to pay to choose your number, on top of that you have to pay per call or text. THIS IS A SCAM. If I pay for a phone subscription I should be able to pick my number AND use it. Also can’t use group texting and notifications don’t work. Useless AND expensive. YOU CANNOT GET A REFUND AND THEY DO NOT RESPOND TO CUSTOMER SERVICE. This is a bait and switch. What they promise is not what you actually get. It’s not till you already paid for the subscription that you realize you can’t choose your number.
If I ever get a refund I will be glad to update my review.

Once again, we want to assure you that if you pay for the phone number subscription, you can choose the number which suits you the best. Our app is undoubtedly not a scam, as it is used by hundreds of users daily. Unfortunately, the group texting feature isn't included in the app; we don't state it in the description on the App Store. Regarding the notifications, you have to turn them on in your device's settings. You will learn how to do so in one of the provided videos. Please follow the instructions from our customer support team. Stay assured we always respond to each customer; thank you!
Overpriced.. don’t use it to prank your buddies
Used it to prank my friend. Our group got a huge laugh out of it, but it caused the the account to get flagged which means they stopping sending your messages. I spent $10 to get a new number(yes that had much it costs which is probably 5x the amount it costs them) and $20 for more credits, but they don’t tell you if your account is flagged. So I spent $30 for nothing. No message I sent was received. I feel pretty ripped off.
Also, you only get one number at all a time, so if you spend $10 for a new number you lose the other number, which also feels like a rip off.

As explained in the previous review reply, the pricing can be easily checked in the Tariffs section of the Numbr's settings and is accessible to all users. We understand the prices might not suit everyone's budget. It looks like you didn't use your phone number in line with Numbr's Terms of Use, and that's why the flow of your messages was limited. The blocking is done by an automated system of the third-party provider of the phone numbers. It's the user's responsibility to use the phone number in line with these rules.
