Scheduled days isn’t accurate

Not super impressed yet. I had another app that was great because I could mark chapters just like you do with this app, but it would say how much of a percentage you have left and “you have to read x amount of chapters per day if you want to finish” by your goal date. That was super motivating. But unfortunately that app deleted as it is no longer in use. :( I think this app will do just fine, I just wish it would calculate how many chapters per day you need to read. Another thing, is I was already part way through the BoM and so I didn’t have a specific start date and I set my goal date. Now it’s saying “you are 74 days ahead of schedule”....it should just say you have a certain amount of chapters to read per day to reach your goal date. I realize that was kind of a ramble, but I wanted to give feedback, mostly because I did pay for this app.

Helpful app for the price

While I agree with other reviewers that it would be helpful if the app provided more information, this is a helpful, simple app that does the job and is a steal for 99 cents! It really helped me during the Book of Mormon challenge and I think it would be a pretty motivating tool for youth reading maybe for the first time. Definitely replaces the old bubble charts very handily! I appreciate someone putting in the effort to make this.

If I could see anything added, I’d suggest sharing the number of chapters needed per day to stay on track instead of the specific book and chapter I’m supposed to be on. That allows for more flexibility rather than always having to read straight through. Wish they’d sell this to the church so it could integrated into the gospel tools app!

Love it!

I love the help in tracking the chapters I’ve read. I’ve read the Book of Mormon many times but this was the most fun, because of this app. I read out of order and didn’t just read straight through. After finishing first and second Nephi I read until the reference to the Jaredites, then I read Ether. Then I skipped around and followed the stories I wanted to read next then finished with the Savior and then the introduction. This app made it easy to track each chapter read and allowed me to skip around without getting lost. GREAT APP! 2 things I hope to see in the future: Add the introduction, and fix when reading random chapters that it will suggest “read 4 more chapters today” instead of reading through “Read through Alma 17”.
