CHANNELS AND CONVERSATIONS Organise work into channels, talk one to one in direct messages, or pull a few people into a group. Threads keep a tangent out of the main conversation without losing it. FIND IT AGAIN Search every message in a workspace, or narrow it to one channel. Files and links you have shared are collected in one place, per channel or across the workspace. Anything worth coming back to goes to Later with one tap. BUILT FOR THE DEVICE YOU ARE HOLDING On an iPad the channel list sits beside the conversation, the way it does on a desktop. On a phone it is a screen you push. Same app, laid out for the screen rather than stretched onto it. SENDS THAT SURVIVE THE UNDERGROUND A message you send appears immediately and goes out when there is a network again. You do not have to watch it. NOTIFICATIONS THAT ARE WORTH THE INTERRUPTION Push for mentions, replies and direct messages. Tap one and you land on the message, not the home screen. YOURS TO CONTROL Block anyone. Report a message in two taps — we act on every report within 24 hours. Lock the app behind Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode. Export everything you have written, and delete your account and its data from inside the app, without asking anyone. Chat & Scale needs a free account. Messages are encrypted in transit and at rest, but not end to end: search, notifications and moderation all require that the server can read them, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise.
