Description
An app to train familiarity with algebraic notation, as a first step to playing chess blindfolded.
If you want to learn how to play chess blindfolded, like me, then the first step is to become comfortable with algebraic notation. I made this game to help train familiarity with the notation, by solving puzzles that force you to input the correct notation on every move. Have fun!
Ratings and Reviews
Achieves its goal perfectly!
This app is exactly what I was looking for and more. It helps me learn hands-on the chess notation system by using it to make the moves. It smartly gives me only valid options and records each move’s notation as it happens. In addition it has several simple boards that definitely help with the learning process. Overall it is well thought out and nicely done. A good chess tool for learning.
Just what I needed!
This app makes practicing chess notation fun! With using this app everyday, I’ve noticed my skill in knowing chess notations increased. This is why I downloaded the app and I truly enjoy it.
Changes and updates
Should only have type in move when playing a real chess board for recording matches with other people like writing it on a piece of paper and touching piece to move it
