CitiBusiness® Mobile App provides users access to accounts, virtually anytime, anywhere.
This app also provides access to mobile token code generation for login and transaction approvals to everyday account activities on CitiBusiness® Online.
With CitiBusiness® Mobile App you can:
• Conveniently and securely generate token codes using the integrated Mobile Token feature
• Monitor your balances and recent activity
• Initiate payments and transfers between accounts
• Approve wire and ACH transactions
• Provide decisions on your Positive Pay items
CitiBusiness® Mobile users must be specifically entitled for access and should contact their Security Administrator prior to downloading the application. If this step is not completed, the application can be downloaded, however access will be denied upon log in.
It has never been easier to access your accounts on the go. This application will communicate with Citi’s server automatically in order to relay your consent and to record usage metrics. By consenting to the installation of this application, you are also providing your consent to the future installation of any updates or upgrades to CitiBusiness® Mobile that may be required for this application to perform the functions outlined above. It is absolutely wild that a major bank would offer such an antiquated, clunky, largely useless mobile solution in 2020. I had forgotten what it was like to try to do any kind of remote banking circa 2002, but thanks to the CitiBusiness mobile app, I can relive that experience. Like a fossil, frozen in time. No mobile check deposit?! That’s outrageous in 2020. While most (but definitely not all) functionality one would expect for remote banking for a business account is available, if often hard to find, on the web version, practically none of that functionality has been ported over to the mobile app. I can check my balance. I can do a few extremely basic things like transfers. But even the one thing it does reliably—generate tokens—is ludicrously cumbersome. Simple functions take 3, 4, 5 clicks, lots of searching, reading FAQs, etc. Just terrible.
After many attempts to get this going, I had to call the bank to tell me I have to go online, change my profile to accept mobile token. Weird that it was not clear from the app. After I’ve done that, I wasn’t able to access my account online through my hard token!!!!!!! Are you people for real?????? How is it possible for a business to not be able to access at any point its account online? I wanted to use the app to deposit a check online. This is Corona time and I didn’t want to go to the bank. Well, I can’t deposit checks with the app. I’m speechless. Speechless. Unbelievable. How is this possible? 2020!!!
I didn’t believe all the bad reviews, so I downloaded this app for my business. Basically the token I have doesn’t work anymore, you have to get a new one. You can’t link your business and personal account. I was advised to log out of my regular Citi mobile app and log in with my business account. But since I can’t link the accounts, I can’t transfer money or do anything between them. Also, every time you log in or out, you loose the FaceID. I hope Citi will improve their service as any other banks. Until then, do a favor to yourself and don’t download this app.
