This is a great city building game. I also have City Island 3 and I really like them both. The things I like about this game is the way the developers made the city go through a complete day, with the light changing from day to night and then the buildings and some of the parks light up. I wish that the vehicles and boats would also light up at night. The thing that I’m finding now that I’ve played for quite awhile is that there aren’t any new buildings - the ones that they offer are the same ones that were at the beginning. It would be nice to be offered new buildings the higher up you go. I do like that you don’t have to purchase anything if you don’t want to, as cars and boats and people offer gold to you if you watch your city. So, you can build up your gold faster. The one thing I don’t like is that eventually all the buildings that you have built stop requiring money and only require gold to build them. I wish they would give you the option to purchase with money you accummulate or gold, so that you have a choice. Some of the buildings and boats are not on the same scale as others, so in other words, some buildings are absolutely huge compared to other buildings that are really small and the boats seems too large to fit in the canals. I also like the way the developers seem to pay attention to the reviews and respond or fix things, like in this game they made the navigation icons on the side of the screen smaller, so you can now access the property below or behind them. I would highly recommend this game if you enjoy city building games. This is a top contender. I hope they create more.

Enjoy playing this game. Graphics are pretty neat. Would like to see the navigation icons be a tad smaller, I’m always clicking them when trying to click a building. Also, being able to manuever to all the properties better would be nice. Especially those along the edge of the screen. Even in full screen, I have to position the beach area on the right side of the screen around the navigation icons, just to view them or to collect from the commercial buildings. Boats in the channels are huge!! Love the detail, but honestly, they should probably be a little smaller for the channels. Maybe the bridges should raise some? to allow boats to travel beneath instead of disappear at each one? Also, why not have a small town grocer or mercantile or feed store a church at the beginning in the lower cost ranges? Kind of odd that you go from farming to bam, pizza and steak houses. lol

I gave this game 3 stars. Graphics is nice. Overall composition is interesting and addictive. It has certain level of challenge. Unfortunately, the game has several drawbacks.1) It requires at least primitive help document.a) Yellow dollars are - ... and can be used for ...b) Green dollars are - ... and can be used for ...c) Stars can be used for only ...d) Port can become profitable and can be enabled only when ...I actually still don't know answers on all these questions.It's absolutely imperative to be able to know how to:2) Hide all game icons from the window perimeter. They are really annoying!3) Convert dollars in gold and back. At a certain point, dollars are accumulated in huge amount of millions, being absolutely useless.4) Understand that houses, land, commercials, unlock, etc. change their prices right in front of your face.But the biggest problem is that5) The game drains the battery 2-3 times faster than during a normal computer use. And I have a brand new 15" MacBook Pro (End of 2017)6) Because you can't shut the game off, when buildings are under constructions, you run it non-stop for days. After a day of playing your computer resources are totally dedicated to the game only and all other Apps are significantly slowed down and start behaving wired.I understand that the game is free (it still requires some at least gold purchase to keep it running), but adjustments are really necessary to be able to enjoy it in full.

I just downloaded this game a few days ago. Good game but I am now experincing some problems. I used all 31 construction workers to build and upgrade some buildings. So I got off the computer for 40 mins and most of them should have been finished when I returned to the game. When I got back into the game all the buildings were still upgrading and hrs. of time were added to the upgrading buildings. Example, a 30 min house wasn't finished but now had 3hrs. remaining before it was done. All of the buildings had 3-4 hrs added to construction time.very annoying! So I had to wait another 3-4 hrs to even build anything again. Iv’e also tried buying some cash through my apple account and signed into pay and I never got my money. It froze saying Loading………. and froze.so I will not purchase anything with real money again. you can totally play without real cash but just be patient, it takes a lot of time.
