Claire's 4+

Ok, when I want to shop at Claire’s, I go to my closest one. However, it isn’t exactly “close.” It’s 30 minutes away! I either had to go on the website, or drive all the way to Claire’s if I wanted to browse or know the best deals. That’s why I got this app on my phone. It was so cute! I saw every deal, had Claire’s rewards, etc. I could even call my Claire’s and have them put stuff on hold for me. I was really excited, but I noticed that things in the store were not on the app. I really like to purchase glue-on faux nails at Claire’s, but a lot of the ones I saw in the store were not on the app. This happened to me with a lot of things, like pens and notebooks, hair things, or jewelry. It was so wired. Plus, each time I went to Claire’s, they signed me in to Claire’s rewards on the app, and then the next day it would be GONE!! Is anyone else having this problem?

The website and the app is trash. I placed an order through the app and there was a glitch, something about token expiring. So I re-entered my info and the order went through the second try but I ended up with two pending charges for the same order. I emailed customer service and they got back to me the next day but with an auto generated response. Something along the lines of sorry for the inconvenience but we had to cancel your order and you should not be charged for that order. They did not address my issue at all. After that, only one charge was removed from my bank. There was still the issue with the duplicate charge, if they had canceled my order then both pending charges should be gone. I really wanted to get my daughter some things with the awesome deal (buy 3 get 3), I placed the order again but through the website this time and the same thing happened.. expired token, order didn’t go through but I still got a pending charge for it.. I said screw it. I’ll spend my money elsewhere. I’ll have to call my bank to dispute the charges because customer service doesn’t really know what they’re doing. I also emailed them about updating my phone number but it’s crickets on that issue. I don’t know what happened.. Claire’s is falling apart.

This app is off to a decent start but there are so many things that could be better. First of all, there’s a pop up every 5 seconds and that gets really annoying. It’s slow and takes forever to load anything. There’s no back arrow when searching so if you click on something but then want to go back and look at what you were looking at before, you can’t, you have to start the whole search over again. The cart should be easily accessible but you have to click through a lot of things to get there. Same with your wishlist. It’s really hard to access your wishlist and the option to add something to your wishlist is also hard to find. Also, there’s no option to delete your account, which I tried to do but can’t figure out how. Other than that the app is fine, but as it is now it’s really annoying to use and they might as well not have an app at all because using it makes me never want to shop at Claire’s again.
