Clean Day — Days Sober 4+

I’ve used this app to help with my sobriety for years and it’s been really helpful for me. Whenever I would struggle with relapsing, I would open the app and look at how long it’s been and it would help calm me down and move past that emotional episode. But within the past few months, there been a bug that makes the app crash everytime you try to open it. I have seen a couple other reviews mention it and the developer hasn’t been helpful. I also sent out an email and received no response. PLEASE fix the bug soon because I rely partially on this tracker to help me. It’s harder to stay sober when I can’t access my date of sobriety in this app

Update** with the newer update all of the issues have gone away and it seems to be a better version of the previous one. I am so relieved! I loved this app and will continue to use it. I am so glad they corrected the issues people were having. I love that I can see the different versions of the sober date; seconds, days, months, etc. and the quotes are always really inspiring and not cheesy. It’s awesome, thank you thank you thank you!

This used to be a wonderful app I checked every day until a newer update. Now you can’t even see how many days you’ve been sober without ads popping up immediately. You can only look at the app for 10 seconds before they automatically start more ads. It’s so disappointing, I honestly wouldn’t advise anyone with any addiction to use this. They just want money now, not to help anyone. Such a shame, it was perfect how it was but now nobody would ever use this. If you don’t believe me - download it and try it, you’ll quickly be inclined to uninstall.

This app was ideal when I first downloaded it almost a year ago. Other than being plundered by the ads for senseless games (would be nice to see like businesses supporting this app, Better Help, etc), I found myself drawn to the aesthetic, simplicity, and quotes…
Anyway, went through some recent changes. Folks complained, but it was worth buying the year of premium for me then. I’m grateful for it now.
Its a reminder when you go to inevitably reset your counters that if you really want to change, it might be worth paying for the premium. You’ll keep the app you paid for. Even if you don’t check it often or forget about it like I do, you’ll be glad it’s there when you find it again. Cheers
