Setting up a Clearblue® account is easy and once connected you’ll have your personal fertility information always available on your phone.
Clearblue® Connected Ovulation Test System detects 2 key fertility hormones – estrogen and luteinising hormone – to typically identify 4 or more fertile days.
Knowing when your fertile days are is key when you’re trying for a baby.
Take one of the simple ovulation tests and see the result on your holder which syncs instantly to your phone. Symbols on the holder confirm Bluetooth® is on and also if you have data to upload.

Can’t connect a new holder
I’ve been using Clearblue Connected with the app and it worked great and helped me get pregnant the first time. Now, when I need its help again, I started doing the test and the first day I got a message that there is an error with my holder and it might not provide accurate results. No other details. That cycle the test didn’t detect ovulation, my period started right after high fertility. Now, I’m not sure if I didn’t ovulate that month, which hadn’t happened once since I started using the test, or was is due to holder error. I then tried to connect a new holder and the app indicated it can’t connect to the holder. I tried another one, a new one- the same message! I deleted the app and reinstalled again, logged back in with my account. No luck. I’m very frustrated because the test is pretty expensive to keep on buying, and I’m losing my precious time.
I contacted ClearBlue and turned out that my holder did not support a function of connection to the app. The ones that do connect have 3 purples stripes on a holder, and packaging should clear state ‘Connected’ on it. I wish I figured that out sooner before spending all this money. The packaging is very distracting, very busy with information. Now I know where to look, and beware - the price can be the same but look for the word ‘Connected’ on the package.

Love the product not the app
So today is day 5 of using the kit. It’s a disheartening. I was all for it & excited for the kit except the app stinks! I have removed and downloaded it several times and it just keeps crashing. I also need to edit information and I don’t see a way to do so. If there is, it is not user friendly enough to be able to do so with ease.
What I don’t like about the kit is that for example you click you do know the date of your last cycle. It will say it’s fine, etc. once testing it states because you don’t have enough info it will be on “high fertility” mode until your LH surge. So regardless of what my currently testing strip is showing, it will be high fertility until Peak fertile day...

Should have an app for all devices
There is a huge need for an app to track ovulation test results and I was expecting ClearBlue to have one - only to find that they only have it for a special Bluetooth tester kit, not the advanced digital one that I bought. They should make an app that is compatible for all their kits - just have a drop down option of which kit you’re using and have the app go from there. I haven’t been able to find a single app that tracks general ovulation results, which is so so frustrating. I’ve found that the Flow app is about 3-4 days off on the prediction (when compared to my test results) as has no means to record ovulation cycle manually. The PreMom app isn’t compatible with Clear Blue results and doesn’t allow manual input tracking of ovulation tests either. For a big company such as ClearBlue, they really ought to be the leader in ovulation tracking in the app market. Disappointing that they only have one app for one of their kits and that’s it.

We are sorry you feel like the Clearblue App is not suitable for you. The App has been designed centered around a women using an ovulation test to help her try to conceive. The Clearblue Connected Ovulation Test was specifically designed in a way to automatically upload your results into the App using Bluetooth. Therefore, all our other Ovulation tests are not compatible with the App.If you wish to use the App, which stores up to 6 cycles of information and allows you to record your ovulation test results and much more, you will need to purchase the Clearblue Connected App. Clearblue team
