Cloak Proxy shows the HTTP and HTTPS requests your apps make, so you can debug your own apps and APIs on iPhone and iPad. There's no account, no ads and no tracking, and captured traffic stays on your device. CAPTURE IN THE BACKGROUND VPN capture runs Cloak Proxy's proxy on your device, so requests are captured while you use other apps, with no Wi‑Fi settings to change. iOS shows it as a VPN, but nothing leaves your device through it: it only points your apps at Cloak Proxy on the same device. You turn it on and off yourself, in the app or in Settings. OR USE THE WI‑FI PROXY The proxy runs inside the app, and a step-by-step guide explains and installs Cloak Proxy's certificate, sets the Wi‑Fi proxy and checks each step for you. On iPad, keep Cloak Proxy next to the app you're testing in Split View, Slide Over or Stage Manager. On iPhone, Cloak Proxy keeps capturing for about 30 seconds after you switch away. INSPECT • A live traffic list, grouped by host, app and device • Search across URLs, headers and bodies, with filters you can save • Request, response and timing for every call: JSON tree, images, forms, cookies and headers • Decrypt HTTPS only for the hosts you choose • Compare two requests, copy as cURL, export HAR, and open HAR and .chlsj session files DEBUGGING TOOLS Breakpoint, Map Local, Map Remote, Rewrite, Scripting (JavaScript), Block List, Allow List, Network Conditions, DNS Spoofing, No Caching, Mock Sets and Alerts. Pause a request and edit it before it continues, answer it with your own response, send it to staging instead, or slow it down to test a bad connection. With VPN capture, the tools keep working while Cloak Proxy is in the background. UNDERSTAND YOUR TRAFFIC • Insights: endpoints, errors, slow calls, security headers, secrets sent in the clear, and the shape of each API • Trace Value: follow a token or ID through every request that uses it • Privacy Map: see which hosts each app talks to and what it sends them • Turn a sequence of captured requests into a flow you can replay API CLIENT • Collections, folders, environments and variables, with import of collection files and OpenAPI specs • HTTP, GraphQL, WebSocket, gRPC, Socket.IO, MQTT, TCP and UDP, and MCP • JavaScript tests, a collection runner, mock servers, monitors and flows • Optional AI requests and Agent Mode with your own API key. Cloak Proxy asks before anything is sent to a provider FOR AI ASSISTANTS Let Claude and other MCP clients on your network read the traffic and use the API client. Off by default, and protected by a token. YOUR CERTIFICATE The certificate is made on your device and its private key never leaves it. Before you install it, Cloak Proxy explains what a root certificate allows and how to remove it. Subcloak receives nothing from the app. GOOD TO KNOW • Apps that ignore the system proxy (some games and apps with their own networking) aren't captured, with either method. • With the Wi‑Fi proxy, capture pauses while Cloak Proxy is off screen, because iOS and iPadOS suspend apps in the background. • iOS runs one VPN at a time, so VPN capture and another VPN can't be on together.

Cloak Proxy now runs on iPhone, with layouts made for the smaller screen: the traffic list, inspector, debugging tools, Insights, Trace Value, Privacy Map and the whole API client. New: VPN capture keeps capturing while you use other apps, with no Wi‑Fi settings to change. iOS shows it as a VPN, but nothing leaves your device through it. The Wi‑Fi proxy method is still there. Also: AI assistants connect to the app over HTTPS, VoiceOver reads each request as one sentence, and large text sizes fit better everywhere.
