How it Works
1. Download the ClothesLyne app and create your profile
2. Tell your personal ClothesLyner how many bags of laundry you have through the app and...
3. Your ClothesLyners will pick it up, wash, dry, and return it within 24-48 hours!
-How much does it cost per order?
All orders are charged per bag; each bag is $20-25. A bag is either our supplied ClothesLyne laundry bag or any tall 13-gallon kitchen garbage bag. The bag holds approximately 20 pounds of laundry; that's less than 1$ a pound!
-Who does the Laundry?
The ClothesLyner you select! ClothesLyners are real people from your neighborhood. They enjoy doing laundry, and because they are local, they are invested in doing a good job. Prior to their first order, all ClothesLyners are vetted through a background check, trained in best laundry practices and customer expectations, and required to complete a test order. I hate doing laundry so I thought I would give this a try and I couldn’t have been happier with that choice. The communication was clear and immediate, the laundry was done and brought back in a day smelling phenomenal and folded to perfection. The whole process was so easy and stress free and I have used this service multiple times since then. I recommend this service to everyone I talk to because of how punctual the coordination is and how well my laundry was done!
Very bad experience
My regular laundry service had changed their name and so I was looking for a new service to use in this service first of all charges by the bag and they tell you a a kitchen trash bag but if they deem that it’s too full they will automatically charge you for an additional bag. I paid $40 plus tax for two trash bags and because they deemed one of them was too full. They charge me an additional $33. I’ve got no support no callbacks no nothing from anyone. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
I received a response they were basically disputing my review so actually what happened was I left two bags and one of the bags was fuller than the other bag so I paid the $40 plus the fees taxes or whatever and they picked up those two bags it says, the one bag was overflowing rather than charge me another $20 for a third bag they charge me $32 so for one bag I basically paid $52. I have another laundry service that I called to come to pick up the rest of the laundry one that actually weighs it out I had a bag combined that was as big as the bags that they already picked up for me. I was charged 20 bucks because their minimum charge is $20, the actual weight was 19 so it was really $19 so these guys charge me almost $90 for the same exact laundry they are a joke

We appreciate all feedback to help us improve and become better. When using Clotheslyne, we make it explicitly clear to use 13-gallon kitchen bags or our company-provided bags. When a customer pays for a 2-bag order, and our Clotheslyner arrives at pickup, and there are 3 bags, we make an additional charge to compensate the Clotheslyner for the additional laundry. Before making additional charges to a customer account, we call them to inform them about the charges and explain what they're for. When we cannot contact a customer, we leave a voicemail explaining and wait 1-2 hours before making the additional charge. After the charges are made, all customers receive a receipt with an explanation of the charge. So in this instance, a customer was charged the $30 because they left a full additional laundry bag outside for their pickup, which resulted in the additional charge to their account, accompanied by a phone call to notify the customer about the charge.
Person lost / stole my clothes - ClothesLyner offered no support
I thought ClothesLyner might help me get washing done and we got off to a rocky start when the first person i booked cancelled moments before collection. Their support was able to find someone else but sadly that person lost 4 articles of clothing and because I didn’t report it in their app (I chose email instead so I had a record of what was sent) they weren’t able to help me. Also $$$ i did the maths for what was washed it would have been. Clothes to just wash at the hotel and that’s not considering that the clothes that was lost / stolen was worth around $120 too. I don’t often leave bad reviews but I felt it was my duty to help other tourists getting ripped off here.

We appreciate all feedback and strive to learn from each customer's order. In this instance, we made several concessions to accommodate this customer, including reorganizing pick-up time and delivery when the customer forgot about his order. We worked with the customer on a missing item report placed two weeks after the order was complete. The customer gave our ClothesLyner a 5-star rating and a rave review during the process. We are disappointed that our efforts to satisfy this customer fell short.
