New: • Paint relief: impasto brushes lay down a raised stroke that catches the light. Light and thickness are in the canvas settings. A new “Impasto” shelf. • Oil brushes paint wet-in-wet - they blend with the paint already on the canvas. • Gouache, watercolor, pastel, charcoal and pencils now feel closer to the real media. • A brush’s blend mode now works right on the canvas. • Shapes: a “Points” button - a smooth line through the points you place. • Timelapse is saved as a video at the speed you chose. Fixes: • Cloud: artworks deleted on another device no longer come back on their own - the app asks what to do with them. Sync is more reliable when the connection drops or the app is closed. • If the tablet suddenly shuts down while you draw, the artwork opens intact - only the last few seconds are lost.

Fixes: • Eyedropper over the reference window: the loupe stays sharp at any canvas zoom. • Image import onto the canvas: PNGs made by AI image generators come in as the picture, not as an icon.

A big update: new selection and pen tools, effects, text on a circle, SVG import. New: • Selection: magnetic lasso, selection brush and smart brush, expand and contract, border, select similar. A selected piece can be transformed. • Pen: ready shapes — rectangle, ellipse, polygon, star, arrow; dashed lines and arrowheads; union, subtract and intersect shapes. • SVG import: the picture becomes a vector layer you can edit with the pen. • Text on a circle and on an arc. • New effects: spin and zoom blur, mosaic, emboss, crystallize, high pass, solarize, ripple, wave, twirl, offset, sketch and comic; tone effects: black & white, threshold, posterize, equalize; Levels in color grading. • Set the blur centre and direction with a circle right on the canvas. • Retouch brush: dodge, burn, saturate, blur, sharpen, replace color. • Clone stamp: Pattern mode tiles a selected piece evenly. • Eight new blend modes and Subtract. • Transform: warp presets (arc, arch, flag…), Repeat around in the layer menu. • Navigator — an artwork thumbnail with the view frame. • Tool windows fold down to their title to free the canvas. • Smudge has its own brush, like the eraser. • Lossless WebP export and export in several sizes at once. • A new launch animation. • PRO tools behind a round PRO button at the top. • Brush edits are kept in other artworks too; Reset to original brings back the factory brush. • Gouache and oil brushes no longer leave dots when rotating the canvas with fingers. Fixed: • Effect and color grading sliders are much faster on budget tablets. • An edit with an Apply button is no longer applied by itself when you leave or rotate the tablet — only when you tap Apply. • The eraser leaves no invisible trace; the transform frame fits the drawing exactly. • The palm no longer places selection points; the lasso stays inside the canvas.
