Pretty Great, nearly perfect

It was super easy to customize the app to guide me through declutter if my unique home. The list of things to do for each room is comprehensive, but not so detailed that it becomes cumbersome. I especially like being able to add tasks that are specific to me. For example, in the master bedroom section, I added a task for decluttering the cedar chest that has become a catch-all.

There are three points of improvement. First, I still haven’t gotten the photo gallery to work. The second is that it would be great to be able to add my “Why” so I could reference it and stay motivated. Third, it would be fun to add rewards for completed rooms. For example, once my family room is done, I can paint and dress it up a bit. Once the whole house is done, I am going to have friends and family over to celebrate. Somewhere to keep those rewards so I can remind myself why I am sloughing through the stack of out-of-focus photos from the past 30 years would be great motivation.

Overall, I love both the aesthetic and functionality of the app.

I want to love it...

But it’s kind of glitchy and frustrating right now. I love that you can customize your rooms and tasks and keep photos as you go along. I don’t love that you can’t delete photos from the gallery and that photos stored there take a super long time to load. I’ve noticed the ones that I take within the app take longer to load, and it does this every time I go to the gallery tab. I’m not that patient. I have started taking pictures with my camera and then selecting from the camera roll, so that helps, but I still have pictures trying to load that I don’t even want there. My screen is cluttered, and it’s driving me nuts.

I also had to update the app immediately after downloading it because it kept prompting me. When I first downloaded, it said the trial was for 7 days. Then when I updated it within the first two hours, the details in the App Store said 14 days. Guess how many they say I get? Uh huh. 7. It’s 7. Customer support didn’t seem to think this was strange at all. With as glitchy as it is, I’m not super excited about paying a monthly fee, though I do think it’s a beautiful and useful app. I just want it to work.

Can’t open app

Just got the app. Very excited to use it.
But I can’t get past the start up screen. App opens and immediately brings up a window saying that an update is needed. If you click on the “update” button it says it’s updating but nothing happens. If you try to ignore the pop up window and click on “Get Started” nothing happens.
Hoping I can give a better review once I’m able to actually enter the app.
