Uses a consistent high-contrast Light appearance; improves long-program syntax colors, keyboard scrolling, arbitrary caret placement, and search/replace; fixes delayed or unresponsive Replace actions and the black flash during Replace All; keeps bottom text and the fast scrollbar clear of the search panel. Settings now shows version/build and supports manual and automatic update reminders.
