One time scan

Easy to use but would like more links to variations, errors, differences in rare and regular coins, etc… I’m an avid sports card collector and understanding those differences are paramount.

Also link it up w other collectibles… collaboration helps expand

Awesome app!

I'm pretty new to the whole coin collecting scene, being a high school student and all, but this app has completely transformed this hobby for me. It's like every coin I find now has a backstory waiting to be uncovered, and this app is my go-to tool for that. The coolest part? Just snap a picture, and it gives you the lowdown – where it's from, how old it is, and even its current value. It's like having a history teacher and a treasure map rolled into one.

What really gets me is the amount of detail it offers. I found this old coin in my grandpa's collection, didn't think much of it, but CoinCheck showed me it was actually pretty special. And it's not just about the rare ones; even common coins become interesting when you learn their stories. The app is super easy to use too, which is great for a beginner like me. It's not just about adding coins to my collection anymore; it's about connecting with the history and stories they carry. Honestly, every time I find a new coin, I can't wait to see what CoinCheck will tell me about it. It's made coin collecting way more than just a hobby for me; it's like an adventure now. Totally recommend!

What in the actual….

This is ridiculous. 6$ a week just to use the app!? That’s like a lottery scam. By the time I find anything worthwhile I’d be in the poor house. This app will never pay for itself. Other than silver weight I’ve found one coin in my life that was worth 1500$. And my roommate intentionally stole it. Literally value or silver weight has been thr only value I’ve seen in coins. If it’s just strictly a hobby for you half the enjoyment of collecting coins I’d assume is looking into and looking through them and the history and rarity of them. Do this app isn’t useful at all however if you’re like I assume most people who go through coins you’re trying to find something valuable. And most of what you’re going to fund isn’t worth trying to sell because if it’s not silver NOBODY WILL BUY IT. THEREFORE YOU WASTED MONEY. On the off chance you run across a rare coin that is valuable you’re probably going to instinctively know that there is something odd about it. Google. Bam. Saved you $24 a month. This app doesn’t save money and it barely saves time. 6$ I’ve used apps that have saved my life that are free. This doesn’t even save money it costs more than you’re likely to ever earn if you actively look for rare coins. Seems predatory to me. Or akin to crime in boom towns.
