Kay.Dubyah ,

Thank you!!!

I’ve been searching forever for a mobile equivalent of the PC app WhatColor, and I finally found it! This is exactly what I’ve been wanting - the ability to point at anything in the ”real world” - not just on my computer screen - and understand what color it is! Great app, easy to use and understand. A few suggestions for nice-to-have improvements for future updates:
- allow user to adjust the size of the target for discerning colors in smaller areas (e.g. lines on a graph)
- provide RGB in either decimal or hexadecimal
- Would there be any way to have this running in background so I would be able to identify colors on web pages or on PDFs? As I understand it, the only way I could do this now would be to take a screen shot then analyze the photo.

Thanks again!

Denver Terry ,

You beat me to it! BRAVO!!

Being colorblind my self I was attempting to build this app for my own use. This works great. I tested it with my friends who have color vision and this is spot on. Well done. I plan to tout this app on my MySpace, Facebook and Twitter accounts. This app solves my biggest problem, clothes shopping!!
I commend you on this most useful of iPhone applications. *standing applause*

Great App

I was surprised how well this app works... Being color blind, this app is particularly helpful when shopping for clothes. It work great and is very easy and relatively quick to use; once you have the picture of the article for which you want to identify the color
