Great app for folks with RSI

Works pretty well after some quick mapping configuration! I've got RSI (finger and had pain), so rely on using a controller as an alternative to mouse and keyboard.

After ControllerMate went the way of the dodo (support dropped as far back as Catalina), I was looking for an alternative. Although this is not as powerful as CM, it gets you most of the way there if your use case is simply to control your computer w/a gamepad instead of a mouse and keyboard. It obviously won't replace an entire keyboard, but can help you map most things you might need so that you can meter your usage of the keyboard.

The one thing that doesn't work quite well is that the left click and drag appears to not work well in some webapps. As if it's clicking first before dragging. Whatever the case, it appears to not work identically to a mouse, which makes Controlly less useful as a mouse replacement.

Also, a suggestion/feature request for developer: Please add "backspace" to list of keys to optionally recognize alongside Return and Esc. This would help me immensely. Thank you!

Great! A Couple Suggestions

Having what would effectively be function keys. You hold down and/or push a button and now another layer of keys is unveiled.

Also the ability to set a key to a modifier key like CTRL or command. In this case I want to be able to use the OS level Zoom from accessibility. You control it by holding CTRL and scrolling. I would like to be able to hold down one button on my controller and then scroll with the analog stick.

Off to a Solid Start!

Brillinat. I can restart my side-project of using a Playstation Controller as an Email Triage tool (pace in front of a large TV)

Wishlist
- [ ] Allow program specific settings and/or the ability to change from different mappings manually
- [ ] I've maxed out the pointer and scrolling speeds; more juice please!
- [ ] Maybe allow buttons to be modifiers like Command, option, etc. Then can chord the modifier plus another button for letter (e.g. Command-S with two separate buttons)

Thanks!!
