Review: This app is for Deaf users, so forcing microphone permission is ridiculous. I have been with Convo since the start, and this update is junk. The app now blocks access unless I enable the mic, even though Deaf users use signed communication and may not want audio access at all. That is not inclusive design. That is forced permission design. A Deaf relay app should respect Deaf users enough to let us use the service with the mic off. The new app is even less reliable as compared to the predecessor. Interpreters have told me to hold off from downloading Convo Call as long as possible until forced to. Very laggy. No chat feature. Can’t even use Bluetooth to keep intruders from listening in public. Onto ZVRS z5 - much reliable and established.

Really bad design app

I don’t like how the features are limited. It reminds me of relay convo now. they feel almost the same. It makes me wonder how the payment plan works for convo now. I don’t want to give any personal information. I think there should be a clear explanation of how the relay conversation plan and payment work. It’s been frustrating for me. It feels like I can only use a phone number to make calls, and that’s it. Honestly, it sucks for me.
