Love the service, the app is a glitchy

Understand that this service has a lot of moving parts a few glitches are very understandable. Recently, its exceeded its allowability to go unmentioned. The biggest issue is the bids a not accurate. As soon as you place a bid prior to action it says you are outbid. Sometimes this will make it $1,000s of dollars more. I know the defense would be the “max bid” but that’s not true. You can have two different prices on two different devices. You will rarely win an auction unless you are present no matter how much you bid. Another issue is the photos are not staying with a vehicle. A lot of times you’ll find unrelated photos on a listing. As for the actual action, the music is rough during action time and sound awful after sitting for a while. You should be able to disable the music and not the auctioneer. It’s also a bit annoying that the photos are taken as soon as they turn the key on running and driving vehicles so you are unsure if the lights on the dash are from the starting cycle or actually indicate issues with the car as most of my purchases are sight unseen since I have to purchase out of state. The broker process could be streamlined in the app but it’s asking a lot. I wouldn’t mind download a preauction app to preview the vehicles and another to purchase if it is a data issue. Just some little errors I’ve found and I’ll gladly up my review should some of the issues be fixed but I do enjoy the service when operational.

Where to begin

The app is pretty decent, better than IAAs app however, the company has many horrible aspects. Let’s start with the fees, no one wants to pay 2k for a 1k car they already bid to 1.4k. For the volume copart sends through the auction, $300+ a car is pretty ridiculous. Next, let’s look at converter theft which is because of what I believe is my 3rd issue. Towing vehicles for copart. We inquired about it as a tow company, nearest location is 60 or so miles away. For the small amount per vehicle at the farthest distance ($95) it’s literally not worth it, not after driver wages, vehicle wear and tear and the biggest issue currently, fuel costs. No wonder tow truck drivers are stealing cats in transit. They want to make up for the lousy price copart pays for pick ups. They expect to make hundreds off a vehicle but only pay less than that. Here’s to hoping you catch pure sales while everyone else is asleep!
