Correcting Time is a timer for grading papers. The idea is simple: using a timer helps teachers stay on task and complete the work of grading quickly and efficiently.
You can choose from four timer modes:
BASIC TIMER: The timer will keep track of the current time spent per assignment, the average time spent per assignment, and estimate your completion time based on the remaining number of assignments and the average time per assignment. No warning beep or indication will be given.
BEAT AVERAGE TIME: The timer will warn you every time you've gone over the average time for an assignment. This helps keep you on track to maintain a steady pace of grading.
GOAL TIME PER ITEM: Set a goal time that you would like to meet in grading each assignment. The timer will warn you if you go over that goal time.
FINAL COMPLETION TIME: Set a time of day you’d like to be done with all the assignments. The timer will calculate how much time can be spent on each assignment, and warn you when you go over that time.
You can adjust the number of assignments and both the completion sound and warning sound.
