Description
Introducing the brand new Count. It app, a breakthrough in corporate wellness and team building. The new app seamlessly syncs with Apple Health and other fitness tracking apps and creates an interactive, virtual wellness challenge. Built to get people moving and promote healthy community culture, the new app is the result of nearly a decade of market experience. Among many innovations:
--A zoomable virtual challenge path that displays user avatars as though they were together on a real world journey.
--Multiple challenge types, including daily steps, hundreds of exercises, and mindfulness/meditation.
--A new sync'ing engine build from the ground up to ensure fast delivery data to make challenges feel increasingly "real time."
--Hooray for one tap emoji reactions! Yep, that's in there too.
--Configurable goals and rewards for individual users, and the group as a whole.
--Smart scaling technology which allows admins to set the relative difficulty of their challenge
--And much more!
Come host a challenge, and get your people moving!

Ratings and Reviews
Got me super motivated
Admittedly, I’m a very competitive person. So I really liked seeing how I was beating my coworkers. And even though I didn’t come in first, I loved knowing how far away the finish line was. WAY BETTER than the internal HR driven program at my last firm. Having a great app changes the game.
Inconsistent double counting and bad UX
Why running only counts as steps at 4 pts for every 10 but tennis and pickleball get 100 points per minute PLUS steps is beyond me. Makes no sense. Also the constant individual adding of the wellness activities is frustrating. Takes so long that I end up being on my phone more than normal because the app interface is not efficient. It’s also not an intuitive interface. Plus the tracker connection isn’t always correct. And if it misreads my fitness app, there is no ability to correct. All in all. Not a great app.

Hi there - I'm sorry you had a frustrating experience. A few quick notes:
-> The points conversion for your challenge was determined by your admins, and was not the standard Count. It points conversion that applies to all of our other challenges.
-> Crediting users for activity in "combination" challenges that include both exercise and daily steps is tricky, and we understand your complaint. The problem is we don't want to count both steps and exercise across the board, as this would dramatically favor people who do step-intensive exercises like running or walking. Our current approach is to credit those activities based on steps. We are working on an upgrade that will actually "de-dupe" steps logged during exercise sessions. This is a highly complex process, and I am not aware of any other platforms that manage it. We are excited to release it.
->We launched our "wellness goals" feature this spring. The original concept was that there would be only one or two "bonus" goals per day, so the need for "multi-select" was not apparent. Again, your challenge admins added more than 20 per day which brings up the need for more efficient logging. We are also working on that.
->I believe our tracker connections and integrations are the best in the world. Because of the multiple hops involved in any sync process, it's never 100% perfect.
->If you feel that Count. It misread the data in your fitness app, please contact our support team. Also, any data point added to Count. It can be corrected. Sometimes this requires a correction on the source device, but all data can be corrected, or at least deleted and re-sync'd.
Clunky app with no way to manually track workouts
I would like to manually track my workouts because I do a lot of yoga and swimming and things that no pedometer can track. I have no fitbit or smartwatch or garmin, so I have to enter all these workouts on my apple Health app, which is terrible and slow in its own interface, and then I must sync it to CountIt, often manually. I only use the CountIt app to try to accumulate points for my company’s wellness program, but believe me, if there was no incentive, I would definitely not use CountIt. It wastes so much time to get data into it.

Hi there,
Good news: The Count. It app absolutely DOES have a manual data entry form, and this has been available to all of our groups and challenges for...years. That said, it may be that your admin has turned OFF that feature. I would recommend inquiring with the admin to see if it can be turned back on.
