"Credit Union 1 CardControl – Stay in control of all your CU1 credit and debit cards with CardControl.
• Turn your card on and off with a simple touch. When turned off, all purchases and ATM transactions will be declined until you turn the card on again. This feature provides peace of mind if your card is ever lost or stolen.

Needs work
Have been using for about 2 years. I do like instant notifications when a transaction runs through. Do not like when card is denied while I’m standing at terminal. Then card is shut of by CU1’s credit card provider and it takes a call to get it taken care of. Happened on vacation and was not convenient. Also had a denial at iTunes which is a normal transaction for me. Was told that I did not have online merchants set up, which was false as card is setup in Apple Pay and PayPal. I believe the real problem may be the MC issuer and not the app so much.
Good
Great idea for getting control of your credit and debit cards. The notifications are instant. When I swipe my card at the store, my phone "dings" within a couple seconds every time.
My only complaint is about the linked account balances. They never update. The app still shows the account balances as the amount that was in my accounts on the date I first installed the app. Hitting the refresh button doesn't fix the balances, but it does update the "as of" date for the balances. Logging out and back in doesn't fix it either. Fix that bug and it's a 5-star app.
Needs a lot of work
The app will not let me reset my password when I genuinely forgot it with my first account. I have had to make 3 so far. Another thing that needs work is the fact the app itself logs you off then says the correct password is incorrect.
