CrefBoard is a working companion for commercial photographers who collect references before a shoot and need those images to stay useful once the lights go up. Build a shoot board for each client job — title, brief, and date — then pin every reference you intend to match. Break each frame into seven elements: composition, background, pose, lighting, color, lens look, and props. Add a short note on every layer so the whole crew knows what “match this” actually means. On set, open the Shoot tab. Every element across the board becomes a live checklist. Mark Captured when the look is locked, or Needs Work when you are close but not done. A progress ring shows how much of the reference is covered before you change lighting or move to the next setup. Elements explains each layer with a definition and a practical shoot tip. The Library holds commercial style references — clean product heroes, editorial fashion, lifestyle flat lays, corporate headshots, neon portraits, and athletic action — each with lighting and framing notes. Workflow guides cover pre-shoot prep, on-set checkoff, client communication, matching light from a tear sheet, and why lens look is more than a millimeter number.
